I have a query pl react and share the information 1as per finance bill (this year budget) the transport allowance income tax rebate has been replaced by standard deduction. 2 there is a interpretation that for disabled rebate on transport allowance stays in tact. 3 there is no information in the official website. 4 some private website has assured that exemption stays 5 RTI application pertaining are pending without reply pending sppeals to be disposed
