One more request. Everyone who posts on Access India must sign off the post
with their names. I am also guilty of violating this courtesy. Often times
one does not get to know who exactly has posted a comment or a piece of
information. Signing off posts with our names is a good idea. It completes
the communication. Hope members don't mind this.

Best,

George

Hi
We are having about 3000 members. So, no way, we can have so many numbers in
a group.

There are already groups on Whatsapp catering to this need. All the same,
email group has its own distinct requirement and need.

i don't think we need to move this to a Whatsapp group. apart from all the
reasons that have been already expressed by members, which i endorse myself,
there are many of us who don't want our mobile numbers floating among the
large number of members that form a part of this group.
while on this public platform, we safely share our inputs, thoughts and
knowledge with strangers, it is not the same when sharing contact numbers
with the same strangers. that information is private until we, as
individuals choose to share it.
for those who do want to move to the platform, it is a decision they can
make on their own i am sure.
my thoughts...
