Simple? ah... ok Just go to the page that needs to be copied. The main reason why you get unwanted line breaks after pasting the text to word from internet explorer is because of using virtual cursor. Hence is the case, we shall not use it when copying. There are so many alternatives to this. The one which I like is this one. Press alt+E and choose "select all" option Without doing anything, press alt+E again, and select the option called "copy" Launch notepad and paste the copied text. Delete the unwanted stuff and copy the edited text to word. If you want to know how to copy text "as it is" (retaining font, format and tabular structure), then it is a different story taking a slight twist at the end. Nevertheless, this will eliminate unwanted line breaks. If however you want to know the technical aspect of virtual cursor, its another long story. Or rather, it's a history.
