Hi, PC still does a better job at overall user experience.
What I suggest: 1. Get a scanner with ADF i.e. HP Scanjet 2000, costs around 25k, comes with accessible scanning software. I have just bought it from my sister and quite amazed at its speed and accuracy. 2. Use ABBYY findreader for OCR and save the converted files to HTM / epub instead of docx, should solve Word's slowing down issue.
