I had been to tirumala last week. Their rules and regulations keep changing
with the seasons. Many things have changed. Although there is a special
cue for disabled/senior citizens for darshan, you must be at their counter
near museum where they take your photos (you and your one escort), and
only 2 laddus are issued that is, one per person. Also, note you must carry
the disability certificate. After getting the relevant tokens for the
darshan, we are transported via TTD vehicles to some gate through which we
are led and seated in huge compartments for a very long time. Regarding
room accommodation, we are sent directly to the counter where a bill/slip
is generated for the room on payment after which we have to wait for turn
that is, for our token number that will be displayed on a large screen which
will not less 3 to 4 hours rarely it happens within 2 hours. With the
present arrangement my advise for all the blind people is not to visit
tirumala with such high risk. I have taken up with TTD several times to
simplify the procedure or revert to the earlier procedures which were quite
benevolent for us. But unfortunately, I haven't got even a single response

Friend, in Tirupati there is special arrangements for disabled persons
at 10am, you should go to the main enterence gate of the main temple
with escort, there you will be provided with a receipt for two Ladoos
and disabled persons with one escort are let in for Darshanam.
