MS Teams feature to share the presentation is one such thing which has come out as a solution overtime.
It is worth noting that currently most of the protocols used in screen sharing present the screen as an image and that is what at the root of all the issues. One fix will be coming up with a new protocol probably in which image is not shared but some other form of data which can be rendered in an accessible way on the receiver's end, this is not easy task either as it may require additional load on the machine as well.
