Recently we got our joining. The location is very remote and in the outskirts of main city. It is GIFT City Gandhinagar. Existence of public transport is nil there. One bus stop is there but the frequency of buses is very low. One have to walk almost 5 km from my office to reach that bus stop. Most of the companies provide cab and bus facilities for their employees as per the poor transport infrastructure demand. Those who don't opt for company's vehicle use their personal vehicle. My Bank do not provide any cab. Even I requested them to change my location to home city if they can but HR did not consider it ( they have given home city posting to many and even I prioritized the same when I was asked for my preference).
