For my daughter, calculator was allowed in degree exams so calculation was not a problem. The scribe used to read out the numbers and then simply calculate on the calculator. Don't remember if the same was allowed during 11th and 12th boards. For practising, she would use excel. But accountancy is more about accounting concepts so we need to focus more on them and trust the scribe for calculations with basic instructions of course.
