I don't think it is possible to use M.S. outlook without Office 365
subscription using the genuen means.

Yes, Bhawani, it works like pop3. But Outlook Express is more accessible and
faster. However, a great advantage of windlows mail is that when you delete a
message, it is deleted from server. So, you don't have to think over the server
space.
As for Maruti's problem, it may be due to some other technical issues like two
step google security. Not much help is available on windows mail on the
internet.
