even in oe, on the servers tab, uncheck the box leave a copy of the mail on
the gmail server and you need not worry server space as once you download on
oe, mails gets automatically deleted on the server.

Yes, Bhawani, it works like pop3. But Outlook Express is more accessible and
faster. However, a great advantage of windlows mail is that when you delete
a message, it is deleted from server. So, you don't have to think over the
server space.
As for Maruti's problem, it may be due to some other technical issues like
two step google security. Not much help is available on windows mail on the
internet.
