Forget about the residential areas, the situation is equally grim in universities such as DU and JNU, which are supposed to be the bedrock of logical thinking and sensitivity. There is a big army of animal lovers, and they resist any attempt of relocating the stray dogs and cats. Sometimes, the blind students have been advised to tap their feet loudly to make the stray animals aware about their presence.
