I have just submitted a response but using the Google forms interface. I did this deliberately because others have struggled with accessibility so I wanted to help evaluate why in the first place. My thoughts if you don’t mind. The edit fields all appear as read-only edit fields when the screen-reader particular Jaws is in virtual cursor mode (browse mode in NVDA). However they are not read-only fields but are wrongly reported by the screen-reader, and when turning on Forms mode with Insert Z in Jaws, or Focused mode in NVDA with Insert Spacebar, you can then enter data into these text fields. Tab will navigate to the next control in this mode, but radio buttons cannot be changed with arrow keys. The user has to again turn on virtual cursor with Insert Z in Jaws or Browse mode with Insert Spacebar in NVDA, find the respective radio button using text navigation with up-down arrows, and press spacebar to select it. Using these work-around methods, we can still navigate the form interface. This should be reported to the accessibility guys at Google. By the way I would like to get involved. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
