hi Yamuna, there are huge differences when you apply the same sensible logic to Indian languages and the european ones. these machines usually use dictionary methods for translating the text rather than the contextual linguistic clues. the machines are well trained in the european languages but, the same is not true when it comes to Indian languages. imagine he has to translate 200 pages and proof read it all in whatever the short period he is given. isn't it a horific assignment? I refrain from talking about it any further in this list as because it leads away from the discussions related to blindness or community in general. I am interested however if personally replied.
