In this thread of handling of cash, I wish to share the following information. A Mumbai based printer Galord Arts has developed a cardboard paper based simple solution. He has named it “currency bank note value identifier for visually impaired people''. This is costing around 100 rupees. It is an envelope size measuring device with braille and stopper marks for different currencies from 500 to 10 rupees for new notes. One face is for new notes and the opposite is for old notes 100 to 10 rupees. User needs to insert a single currency inside the hold band and trace the currency edge to read the value. This product has been available for a year now. It is an individual's experience whether it is really a useful one or not.
