If your wife don't know to drive, then better to purchase old car and let her drive old car for a year or two. Once she will become perfect, go for a new car.

Hi friends,

First of all I wish you a happy and prosperous new year.

Friends, I am back with another query regarding learning car driving.

But before that let me give my brief about me however many members are already know me.

Ok let me brief about my self.

I am staying in Kolkata and working as deputy manager in SBI.

My father used to drop and pick from my office, we use to commute by motorbike daily.

On 4^th of July I.e. 2023, we met with an accident nearby my office in which my father had a fracture above the elbow and have to go under surgery.

After that incidence, I am managing my own, but my wife wants to learn driving.

But the problem is that my wife is not that much literate and currently we have no car till date, however I will purchase in future as I am about to shift to my new flat with in 6-7 months.

So friends I would like to know that,

1 should I allow her to learn  driving? As I am not sure about her capabilities as because she did not have that much exposure regarding vehicles.

2 what would be your opinions, should I go with her decision because if we look in our society, almost the drivers are either semi literate or ill-literate.

3 as I am the only bread earner, it is not possible to higher full time driver.

Does any one in this list having same or similar situation? If yes what are the remedies you guise have taken?

Any suggestion or comments are welcome.

Regards

Gufran.
