I have not done it myself. Perhaps it is in the security settings. It needs
calibration of a finger tip 10 times. Any finger will do. However, I used my
index finger of the right hand. So, whenever I pick up my phone, the screen is
unlocked. On my moto g62 set the sensor is at the power button.
You will also need a 4 digit pin along with finger tip. You will need this pin
if your finger does not work somehow.
I will suggest using a different finger tip. Sometimes we may just check time
using the power button when we may not want to unlock the screen.
