Hi all, This morning I was contacted by researchers from Birla Institute of Technology And Science,for a WhatsApp accessibility Usability learning session. Before I commit my availability date for this discussion, I thought it would be best for me to write to the group for feedback on your experience with Whatsapp accessibility on the various platforms.
I do not know the level of impact of this organization on the future of Whatsapp accessibility, so I cannot offer you any guarantees, but I figured it would be worthwhile offering feedback to a large institution dealing with its accessibility. So, anyone interested in offering me feedback with any significant problems with Whatsapp accessibility on any platform, please send me a private E-mail on [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Please be brief and concise. Mention the following: 1. What platform your issue is related to: Android, IOS, Windows or MAC. 2. What screen-reader are you using: Talkback, Prudence, Voiceover, Jaws, NVDA, Etc. 3. A brief and concise description of the accessibility issue needing to be addressed. 4. Whether or not you have found that the problem can be replicated using alternate platforms or screen-readers. Please only discuss accessibility of Whatsapp and do not write with any other related accessibility issues. I will be compiling notes and cannot waste time with clutter as time is limited. I will be deciding on available date for my meeting with them by tomorrow morning. Therefore any feedback from you must come my way by end of today 1 May 2024.
