Subject: [AI] Learning of The Day: A Quick Guide of voice Type in Google Docs

Voice typing in Google Docs is a convenient feature that allows you to
dictate your text instead of typing it manually. Whether you want to save time,
avoid repetitive strain injuries, or simply prefer speaking over typing, this
feature can be a game-changer. Here's how to use it effectively with just a few
shortcut keys.

How to Use Voice Typing Feature:

  1. Open Google Docs: Launch Google Docs in your web browser or through the
Google Docs app on your device.

  2. Start Voice Typing: To begin voice typing, press Ctrl + Shift + S on your
keyboard (CMD + Shift + S for Mac users). This shortcut will activate the voice
typing feature.

  3. Speak Your Text: Once the voice typing tool is activated, a microphone
icon will appear. Start speaking clearly and at a moderate pace, and Google
Docs will transcribe your words into text in real-time.

  4. Use Punctuation: To add punctuation while voice typing, simply say the
punctuation mark you want to insert. For example, say "period" for a full stop,
"comma" for a comma, or "new line" to start a new line.

  5. Formatting Commands: You can also use voice commands to apply formatting
styles such as "bold," "italic," or "underline." Simply say the formatting
command followed by the text you want to format. For example, say "bold this"
to make the following text bold.

  6. End Voice Typing: When you're done dictating your text, press the shortcut
keys again (Ctrl + Shift + S or CMD + Shift + S) to deactivate voice typing.

  7. Review and Edit: After voice typing, review the transcribed text for any
errors or formatting adjustments that may be needed.

By following these simple steps, you can make use of the voice typing feature
in Google Docs efficiently.
