I recently had a conversation with one of my younger visually impaired students who asked if they could study with background music like sighted students. Many sighted students find that background music can help them focus, especially when solving math problems. However, for visually impaired students, the challenge is balancing their attention between the screen reader and the music. , I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this topic. Are there any strategies or accommodations you’ve found helpful for visually impaired students who prefer to study with background music?
