Recently, I attempted to search for my details on the portal but was hindered by the image Captcha feature. This barrier prevented me from accessing my information, highlighting a significant accessibility concern. The Captcha, intended to prevent automated access, inadvertently restricts access for individuals with visual impairments or other disabilities that affect their ability to decipher images. This oversight undermines the portal's purpose of providing essential services to all citizens. I request that the Access India Group advocate for the implementation of alternative, accessible Captcha solutions, such as audio or text-based options, to ensure equal access to the Voters Services Portal for all individuals, regardless of their abilities.
