there are 2 types of insurance with home loan. one is for your property
against fire, flood and earth quackes etc and another is optional to
secure your home loan with your personal insurance. If at the time of
disbursement you have not opted for personal life cover Now you can opt
either through your bank's arrangement or your own. better to cover the
entire loan amount even after completion of the loan period.
