Hello all,

A friend living with low vision has been facing issues over the past few days 
while using (a) ZoomText Fusion and (b)  Windows Magnifier with JAWS. Both 
tools initially work fine, but soon after, they stop functioning properly. Here 
are the details:

(a) Fusion:
When running Fusion in full screen zoom mode, everything works smoothly at 
first. However, within a few minutes the zoom frame freezes, and he is unable 
to pan across the screen as he could earlier.

(b) Magnifier with JAWS:
Similarly, when using Windows Magnifier, full screen mode works well for the 
first few minutes. After that, the magnified frame becomes static. Even when 
moving the mouse across the screen, the frame does not shift focus, making it 
difficult to continue using magnification comfortably.

Common issue:
For both Fusion and Magnifier, the only temporary fix is to completely restart 
the program. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurs within minutes.

Steps tried for troubleshooting:

1.      Updated Windows 11 to ensure that the latest version is running
2.      Updated display driver
3.      Updated Fusion and JAWS to the latest version
4.      Tried using Magnifier with NVDA - and experienced the same problem 
within minutes
5.      Tried contacting Microsoft Disability Answer Desk, but couldn't get a 
resolution

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If yes, do you know of any resolution? 
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
