Modern Notepad creates many challenges for screen reader users, such as
navigation, labeling of UI elements, and more.

Also, when you open the new Notepad, previously saved text is displayed,
which can be confusing.

Ideally, when you open a new document, it should be clean and empty.

Let's see how to turn off this feature in Windows 11:

1. Open Settings and go to Apps.
2. In the Apps section, select Advanced app settings.
3. Navigate to App execution aliases.
4. Press Space on App execution aliases.
5. Tab to Choose which app execution aliases to use, then press the
Down Arrow until you find Notepad.
6. Press Tab once and hit the Space key to turn off the modern Notepad.

Next time you open Notepad, it will start with a clean and empty document.
