Hi Priti,

The Web 2.0 based iteration of whatsapp which has now being updated & shipped,
needs different set of scripts than what has been programmed by JAWS.

At the moment the below scripts are the once that been provided by Dough Lee.
Please keep referring to his webpage for latest scripts from time to time.

The text follows:

JAWS, WhatsApp: Script revision 22 posted; docs and download at
https://www.dlee.org/whatsapp/
Only for new WhatsApp!
Speeds switch into the app, makes Alt+numbers work, includes replacements for
Alt+S and Alt+E (but different keystrokes).
Still adding features as I can.

Thank you,

Bharat.

Subject: [AI] Accessibility Support Needed for Desktop WhatsApp Interface

Greetings of the day
I am currently facing difficulty accessing WhatsApp on my desktop. Earlier, I
was using the regular desktop version comfortably, but after the recent update,
the interface seems to have changed completely. Since then, I have been unable
to navigate or use it properly.
To resolve this, I downloaded WhatsApp Beta as well, but the interface appears
to be the same, and I am still unable to access the features I need. It feels
like the updated layout is not accessible for me.
If anyone has used WhatsApp on a laptop recently and is familiar with this new
interface, I would be grateful for guidance or a possible solution. I am not
sure whether this is the interface of WhatsApp Web or the desktop app, but any
help in understanding or navigating it would be really appreciated.
If someone can support me with this issue, it would mean a lot.

Regards,
Priti Dhanawat
