👉 The UDID Card will now be accepted as a valid document for availing railway travel concessions by persons with blindness. This will be enabled through API-based integration of the UDID database of persons with blindness ( one of category under visual impairment) with the Railway ticketing system, ensuring: ✔️ Seamless digital verification ✔️ No repeated paperwork ✔️ Faster, hassle-free booking ✔️ A more dignified travel experience This is not just a policy reform— it is a promise of accessibility, independence, and equal opportunity.
