Hi dear group members,
My name is Srinivasarao Bathula, and I am from Hyderabad. I am a visually
impaired person, and I have recently joined this group. I am very happy to
be part of Access India and to learn how to accept challenges and find
solutions with the support of this community.
Recently, I have been facing an accessibility issue with the IRCTC Android
app after its latest update. Earlier, train search results were easy to
read using TalkBack, as all details were announced in a single continuous
format. However, after the update, the same information is now broken into
multiple lines, which makes navigation confusing and time-consuming for
screen reader users.
Because of this change, booking or even checking train details has become
quite difficult for me.
I would like to know:
•
Has anyone else faced similar issues with the IRCTC Android app?
•
Are there any workarounds or solutions you are using?
•
Have you reported this issue to IRCTC, and did you receive any response?

Thank you so much for your time and support.
Looking forward to learning from your experiences.

thanks and regards
B. Srinivas
