Dear Manohar SwaroopBased on my experience, here is some information regarding the UDID application process:
*Verification Visit:* - If your existing medical certificate is ten years old or more, a hospital visit for re-evaluation is mandatory before your UDID card can be generated. - If your medical certificate is newly issued, a hospital visit is still required, but re-evaluation will generally not be necessary. *Timeline:* There is currently no fixed or official timeline for the generation of the UDID card after the application is submitted. The process time can vary. *Suggestions/Precautions:* - When visiting the hospital, make sure to carry your Aadhaar Card and your medical certificate. - It is crucial to confirm whether you completed your Aadhaar KYC during the UDID application submission. If you did not complete the KYC then, please ensure you do so before your hospital visit, as the hospital staff will require it to proceed with the verification process. I hope this helps you and other group members understand the ground reality better.
