Dear Manohar, The suggestions & guidance you received from Mr. Waseem is more than sufficient. But, I would like to share my own experience. I applied for the UDID on December 7th, 2025 and re-visited my assessing hospital on December 15th, 2025 with all the necessary printouts, along with my voter ID card as well. Because, when I visited my hospital on the date, December 10th, 2025, so there was a noticeboard which clearly stated that: the medical team for evaluation and verification for UDID Applications will sits on every Monday only and the December 10th, 2025 was Wednesday; so I met an official there, who checked my documents and re-stated that: you have to come on Monday with printouts of these documents, and also bring your voter ID card. So I replied: printout of my UDID application, receipt, Aadhaar card, and disability certificate is more than enough; then why voter ID is also required? So, he re-phrased his sentences and left from there. So, I again visited that hospital and submitted my all documents on December 15th, 2025. But don’t expect that the procedure was smooth & hassle-free for me, after all dealing with Uttar Pradesh’s officials isn’t a Cake walk. eventually, I succeeded in it. Before leaving the hospital, the officials who checked my documents there they said: 45 days is the minimum threshold for this application, after that anything is going to be happen upon this application, because your disability certificate was issued from another district and you’re currently residing & had applied from UDID from this District. After 45 days, my application forwarded to another state for verification and this is still the current status of my application. This was my overall experience, which isn’t a hassle-free one!
