Viewpoint is an AI-powered screen reader assistant that allows you to perform various tasks that are inaccessible with screen readers using regular interaction methods. This tool leverages Google's latest Gemini models to analyze and understand elements on your screen and allows you to interact with them. It has the following four modes: 1. UI mode: Through UI Mode, it identifies interactive items like buttons and links so you can move through and activate controls that would otherwise be inaccessible with keyboard and screen reader. 2. OCR mode: the OCR Mode allows you to extract and read on-screen text. 3. Query mode: the Query Mode is another useful capability of the tool. It can help you interact with items that UI Mode does not automatically recognize. Simply ask Viewpoint to find the specific item you need and add the phrase “as a UI element” in your prompt so it considers that element as something clickable. 4.
