I am also shocked to hear about this. Unfortunately, such incidents are becoming more common within the visually impaired community. This is nothing but fraud and cheating, and the affected persons should take it seriously and consider taking appropriate legal action. Some time ago, I came across another similar incident where a person started a fake online institute. In the name of providing training in voice acting, audio-video editing, and AI tools, he collected money from many visually impaired individuals. He also took thousands of rupees from people by claiming it was an investment in his company. Additionally, he promised to provide cameras for learning purposes after collecting a security deposit of ₹10,000. However, he neither provided the promised services nor returned the money. When the victims asked for refunds, he allegedly started threatening them with legal action, claiming that he had connections with the Aam Aadmi Party and access to a strong legal team. It is shocking to see how some people keep finding new ways to exploit and loot innocent individuals. Such people should be exposed and held accountable for their actions.
