I wanted to share a recent experience with the Blinkit iOS application from a VoiceOver user's perspective. What is particularly disappointing is that several workflows that previously worked well now appear to have regressed. Tasks that were once straightforward have become difficult, confusing, and in some cases impossible to complete independently. Some of the issues observed include: . Items on the checkout/cart screen are not being read properly by VoiceOver. . The address selector control appears to be unlabeled. . The total payable amount is not announced before making the payment. . Payment method selection controls are unlabeled, making it difficult to know which payment option is being chosen. For a blind user, this creates significant barriers during the final stages of a purchase. Ordering groceries should not require guesswork or repeated assistance from sighted users. What concerns me most is the apparent regression. Accessibility defects are frustrating, but accessibility features that previously worked and are later broken can be even more discouraging. End users often do not have the time, energy, or patience to repeatedly report the same issues, follow up with support teams, and wait for fixes.
