The 6th edition of the Sabal Awards celebrates the talent, resilience, creativity and contribution of Persons with Disabilities and recognises individuals creating positive change and building a more inclusive world. The awards feature three broad themes. Sabal Awards for Spirit of Expression Sabal Awards for Spirit of Resilience Sabal Award for Rural Innovation and Design Thinking Categories include singing, painting, dance, inclusive arts, poetry and essay, instrumental music, musical ensembles, change makers, role models, Saathi and rural innovation. The awards are open to eligible individuals, teams and innovators as specified for each category. Persons with Disabilities are eligible across several categories, while some categories are open to persons without disabilities as well. The last date to submit applications is 15 November 2026 at 11:59 PM IST. For accessibility support, the Sabal Awards provide a general helpline and dedicated ISL assistance.
