The awards feature three broad themes. Sabal Awards for Spirit of Expression Sabal Awards for Spirit of Resilience Sabal Award for Rural Innovation and Design Thinking Categories include singing, painting, dance, inclusive arts, poetry and essay, instrumental music, musical ensembles, change makers, role models, Saathi and rural innovation. The awards are open to eligible individuals, teams and innovators as specified for each category. Persons with Disabilities are eligible across several categories, while some categories are open to persons without disabilities as well.
