For disabling/enabling images in IE: Go to Tools > Internet options Then switch to Advance tab. There you will find a list of options grouped under various categories (accessibility, browsing, multimedia etc). move down to the option "show pictures" under the multimedia section and enable it or disable it using the space key. Press enter to save the changes.
