Hello all,
Just a update on the events happening in partnership with Radio Mirchy.
I was interviewed by the famous RJs Anant & Saurav on Monday 18th August &
after that radio mirchy repeated their promo asking people to volunteer for
recroding books for the blind several times on Monday & Tuesday from the Delhi
station.

The response has been overwhelming & more than 200 persons have already called
to register themselves. Another very good impact of this exercise is that a lot
more people are now aware of the requirements of the visually impaired & also
understand what is a "talking book".

We with Radio Mirchy will be holding orientation programs for the volunteers on
Saturday & Monday in several groups of 30-40 each.

>From lack of volunteers, the challenge now is to engage this big group for
>meaningful activity. We will try our best & suggestions are welcoem.
If anyone needs volunteers in Delhi for helping the visually impaired, please
let us know & we will try to connect some volunteers to you.

  Subject: Interview on Radio Mirchi

  Hi Prashant!
I am feeling extremely happy to tell you that we finally have a dedicated
studio for book reading in Noida ready.
We are breaking the promos inviting listeners to volunteer their voice for
the audio books.I am hoping a good response. I am sure then I would be able to
give you some names and numbers of volunteers that you had asked for.
I have given a deadline of 15 days to Delhi team to complete Men are from
Mars...
And finally the purpose of this mail, since we are going to begin the "lend
your Voice" campaign from Monday, I need a very short telephonic interview with
you on Radio Mirchi and NAB working together towards recording books. I want
you to specifically tell the Delhi Listeners to come forward and volunteer
their voice. That would make a far better impact than us.We are putting this in
the morning show for maximum reach.
I have told my Programming team to get in touch with you for the same, they
might call either tom or on Monday while the show is on.
  Warm Regards
  Pallavi
