Hi,

All the present/ intended FF and webvisum users, read on.

Before relegating any situation to a problematic status, it is necessary to
examine it from all the angles.
I attempt to solve problems raised by some of you regarding FF and webvisum.

Webvisum can solve captchas on almost all pages. To do so, it needs to have the
cursor focused on the image. Some of the sites lable the graphic so that when
the cursor is on the image, information like graphic "verify image" is
announced. By pressing alt + ctrl + 6 (the key combination for submiting
captchas has changed from ctrl +6) submits the captcha to the webvisum server.
However, some sites do not lable the captcha graphic. Consequently, the captcha
solving ability of webvisum fails as the cursor does not focus on the graphic.
To resolve this issue, eather contact the webvisum team, or do the following.

1. Find the line that says a variation of "You have to verify the captcha given
below for submiting the form".
2. Press the key command to route jaws to pc cursor (insert + numpad dash for
desktop).
3. Now use the arrow keys to move one line above, below or to the right of the
information line.
4. You will find jaws cursor announcing one or more of graphics such as
"graphic 420".
If it is only one, then using arrow keys or ctrl + arrow keys, move to the said
graphic.
Note: if it is more than one, you would have to experiment with all of them.
5. Now submit the captcha.

There seems to be a kind of a chain rule here.
JFW 8 does not "support" FF 3. Only older versions of FF can be used with it.
Webvisum "properly" works with FF 3. The older versions are not garanteed.
So if you are using one of the wrong combinations, problems are sure to arise.

Some times, when the session closes abruptly, FF gives you an option of
restoring the previous session, or starting a new session through a dialogue
box. This is just an added functionality, and nothing is wrong here.

Any added clarifications can be delt with further emails on this issue.

Regards
