AJMER:
Three visually impaired students of a blind school in Ajmer were on
Sunday rusticated on charges of ragging their juniors.

The three students, studying in class XI of Government Blind Senior
Secondary School, on Sunday admitted to ragging their juniors, mostly
students of class
VIII. The school principal submitted a report of rustication to the
deputy director of secondary education after the students — Nayan
Kishore, Ashok and
Ramdev — accepted their fault in writing.

"There had been several complaints against these students. They used
to force juniors to do unwarranted things apart from asking them to
bring cigarettes
and gutkha," said school principal Narbada Sharma, adding that their
parents had also been called but they hadn't turned up. "Considering
their physical
challenge, we ignored the complaints on previous occasions, but their
act had become intolerable now," she said.
