Dear Friends!

I can understand the situations under which the School Principal must have
been forced to take such a decision, but I wonder as to where these students
will go now as there may not be other blind schools ready to take them in at
this juncture of their academic session. The media coverage of this incident
would further add to their woes of not getting admission any where!

Also ragging laws and rules are mostly applicable in Colleges where students
turn adults (I mean at least 18 years). However, in the instant case they
are XIth class students harassing Class VIII students which could be
severely dealt with by the Hostel warden under intimation and guidance from
the Education department.

In my opinion, they are still juvenile offenders and should be given
opportunities to improve and correct themselves. Such harsh action would
lead to waste of precious academic year. The aim of any action against these
students should be bring them back on right tract and not dump them out of
school.

regards
