this will install XP but will remove all the partitions and make a single partition in your hard disk. So it is very dangerous. All the data will lause. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roopakshi Pathania" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi,

If you wish to make at least the installation of windows accessible, then you can try these tutorials for performing an unattended Windows installation on your PC using Setup_mgr.exe.

http://blind-geek-zone.net/audio/Windows%20Unattended%20Installation.mp3
http://blind-geek-zone.net/audio/Windows%20Unattended%20Installation%20Part%202.mp3
http://blind-geek-zone.net/audio/Windows%20Unattended%20Installation%20Update.mp3

The same website- www.blind-geek-zone.net hosts other files related to windows instollation.

Since I haven't had any recent occasion to try out this, I cannot garentee a successful installation.

Regards

hello all at accessindia
due to exams, assignments, busy college life, i'm not
able to post
very much to the list, but this time, i have to ask few
questions and
hoping to get some suggestions too.

few days ago, my PCI.sys file got corrupt and i had to wate
til some
sited person arive so that i can fix it with bootable disk
of windows.
( how depended is that? )
anyways, so the point of story is,
unlike linux/unix, windows doesn't have any
screenreader which can
read console messages and tell user about status of the
boot process.
however, if we can code in c / cpp, this can be achieved.
the application will have to directly interpret with the
bios, so i
understand its not easy task, but, if we write code and put
it on a
bootable disk, and then let windows load, i guess, we can
read out the
boot progress.
due to its high complexity, i'll be very glad if some
institution like
NAB delhi or karishma enterprise can throw some more light
on this
subject.
i'm also open to any discussion for the same off-list
if its about the
programming concepts and ideas.
also, with free speech synths like ESpeak, we have a very
good chance
of getting it as freeware.
so, lets see where and how far we can progress in this
field.

also, as far as i remember, there use to be a shortcut to
turn off the
display of the laptop and still continuing to work on the
process, the
shortcut was something with function key i remember.
oh, and btw, i'm using compaq laptop.
if we can turn off the display screen, i suppose, we can
increase the
battery life by up to 25%.

i think, that's all for now.
regards,

ruchir.
