That sounds good.

We can also send across a signed petition to the head of All India Radio here, or perhaps in New Delhi, if the deciding authority is based there.

That can be done. I shall write either an viewpoint highlighting of
course the need for accessibility by broadcasters. I am sure no one has
thought about the issue from this stand point. Let's see what kind of
interest it generates in my place.

Hi Subramani,

There is nothing like listening to live commentary, particularly of a
match
heading toward a nail-biting finish.

We must get All India Radio to broadcast cricket commentary on FM in
Bangalore. Could you highlight this matter by generating some press
coverage? It is time we had a FM Gold here.

Dear Sandesh:

One reason why I don't complain is that we can't listen to audio
commentary in office and so will have to any way rely on cricinfo.com
(who give almost immediate update on scores) to stay in touch with
events on the field. Cricinfo is accessible and when you press
insert+F10, you can get the score without going to the page. Moreover,
if you are the reading kind, not so much the listening one, the
reading
materials on the web is excellent and surely you will settle for it.

Agree indeed.
Can't accessindians do something to overcome this issue permanently,
as
this
has become, i feel like an everyday problem.
Another thing is that has love for cricket really diminished or people
here
on the list are trying to get accustomed to this?
Maybe, you will say i am keying frustration here but some concrete
action
needs here to be taken.
Regards.
Sandesh

Dear friends,

We must do something if we are in any way concerned about being
crickt

lovers. The current series of India v. Australia is being broadcaste
in
Australia (probably not online) but we are not able to hear it and
this
series is regarded as one of the most awaited. This has happened far
too
often. Let us do something.
