Respected amit sir, It's nice to know that mr. Mahesh is here since long and he is not a new member. Yes it's correct that because of it's cool features and accessibility with screen readers, nokia e 51 became very popular among visually impaired folks. However, if we take a close look of that mail, mr. Mahesh haven't used any word like "screen reader", "accessibility", "talks", "mobile speak" etc in his message. What I mean to say that even after reading his mail, I'm unable to find out whether phone is compatible with screen readers or not. In fact, he haven't used any such word which can give any idea about it's compatibility. That's why I have requested him to be careful before posting any mail on this list. As per is radio commentary is concern, it's surprising to know that you do not consider it as a part of VI community. I think that radio had been a friend of VI person since long. Because radio is a medium where everything depends on audio, it becomes far more easy for us to understand the things in comparison of TV. Specially, things like sports can not be understood well on any other medium then radio. so I'm very happy to see this topic on list, and hope to see any improvement in this direction so that I can freely enjoy the cricket. precisely I believe that VI person and radio are inseparable from each others, so probably it won't be fair to keep it out from the category of accessibility. In fact, it won't be wrong to say that radio was the first accessible device for us. All the other devices like computers or else came afterwords. Still we can not deny it's importance in the life of a VI indivisual. Frankly I do not like to read those things on this list which have no link with accessibility or disability. Therefore, instead of pointing any particular indivisual, I would like to request all the folks to kindly consider a bit before dropping any post on the list. However, all these words are result of my deep love for this nice list. Neither I'm trying to prove someone wrong, nor instructing. Whatever I've wrote is my heart's voice, and I feel very sorry if anyone got hurt from these words. With profound regards, Prateek agarwal. Mahesh is not a new member on this list but he seldom writes here. He might have sent the information about E51 because this handset is compatible with Talks and has become very popular for it's good performance. Perhaps we have earlier not had any discussion on E51, but you might have found many visually impaired folks raising their queries about compatible handsets with Talks or Mobile Speak. In this way, you should not mind this posting. Nun the less, there are found many postings pertaining to technology but have no direct or indirect link with accessibility or disability. We have been constantly discussing about the Cricket Commentary on Radio witch has no connection with the electronic discussion, accessibility, disability or so on. I think posting about any compatible handset is far better than discussing radio commentary or any other topic witch should actually not be brought on the list. I also posted specifications of Nokia 5320 mentioning that this supports Mobile Speak and may work with Talks also and interested users can buy it. someone has also posted about Nokia 5800. so no harm in discussing it. I just wanted to clarify the things, do not take it otherwise.
