Hello, I don't think there are specific instructions to this effect by any regulator, however, certain Banks do offer various concessions to VI customers. For instance, our Bank has special saving account scheme for disabled customers. If anybody needs the scheme details, he or she may contact me off the list. Similarly, few Banks also have provision of waiving certain service charges in accounts of NGOs. Unfortunately, in most cases, front office executives don't have any idea regarding these things.
