IN brief, Outlook Express is an E-mail client. This is a POP3- and
IMAP-compatible Application witch enable us to send and retrieve E-mails
without going to the website.
Microsoft Outlook is also an email client included with the Microsoft Office
suite. It is designed to operate as an independent personal information
manager,
as an Internet mail client, or in conjunction with the Microsoft Exchange
Server for group scheduling, email, and task management. It manages email,
calendars,
contacts, tasks, to-do lists, and documents or files on the hard drive.
Outlook helps you communicate through email, phone support, and group
scheduling
capabilities. MS Outlook also helps you share information by means of public
folders, forms, and Internet connectivity.
Both the programs are developed by Microsoft Corporation.
MS Outlook has some extra features as compare to Outlook Express.
As far as you've asked about the comparison in both the Applications, well
it is tough to say witch is the best one. In most of the organizations,
people prefer Microsoft Outlook. But I personally do like Outlook Express to
use. Not sure whether my observation is wrong or right but what I have
analyzed that a large number of sighted people are using MS Outlook
extensively. Where as I have seen most of the Visually Impaired folks using
Outlook Express rather than working with Ms Outlook.
