Hi all, I am looking for our friends from Varanasi and vicinity areas. This is for a gentleman from the city who have been progressing quite well though he lost his eyesight only a couple of years ago. He is a primary school teacher in his thirties, and have resumed using computers, and now also studying further.
As of now, he does not know anyone in the blind community, except being a regular caller on our helpdesk and a listener of our radio show aired in Varanasi. It would be good if he can make friends with somebody local over there, for which he is also very excited. Even people outside Varanasi but in the U.P state might be easier for him to keep in touch by phone. He has been put on to use internet as well, and it might take him little time to join us online.
