This seems to be a little complex question, yet I've done all in my
powers to make it a simple one
When I send an SMS to a person (the recipient), how do I make my name
appear in "from" field instead of my number, even if the recipient does
not have my contact in his or her mobile?
If you think that's not possible, then how come the companies like Just
Dial, HP, HDFC or take Radio Mirchi! for that matter, when they send a
text message to you, regardless of whether or not you've saved their
contact details, in "from" field, their name will be displayed.
Just look at the text message I got from HP: (notice the from field)
from, HP
Dear Syed Ur Laptop call is been registered with HP.Ur case id2605200013
against the ref#NB1125-019.Thank u 4contacting HPLakshmi.
Now when I send a text message to someone, I want my name to appear, not
my number. How do you think it can be done?
