hello and greetings to all :) while searching on internet for a software i've came across this wonderful program which i'll be discussing here.
if you are a user like me who have to transfer large amount of data between external hard drives, pen drives, DVD's, which may include mp3's, movies, softwares, audio books, and much more, you've already felt the pain of monitoring the slow and sluggish process of copying/moveing of windows. and that too, out of hundreds file even your 1 file is corrupted, the process terminates all together without performing the copy/move operation on other files. to overcome these problems, a free, very easy to understand, and accessible software called tera copy is available. you can download the latest ( beta) version of teraCopy from, http://www.codesector.com/files/teracopy2b4.exe or http://www.teracopy.com/files/teracopy2b4.exe the steps are very simple to use just download and execute the program. however, it is not the perfect acccessible program, so the users with screen readers like me, would have to make some changes. after the setup completes, keep the checkbox checked to lonch tera copy and click finish. a window with title tera copy appears. hit tab til you here menu button and hit enter on it. arrow down til you here options, and hit enter. check all options excluding the option that says shell integration when scroll lock is off. hit enter on shell integration register copy handler then tab to okay and enter on it. that's it. your default windows copy has been replaced with teraCopy. the only disadvantage to this program is, that jaws does not speaks the copied or moved percentage, but it does plays a sound in case of error, or completion of copy or move. and you can any time vurtulise the window to get more information while copying or moving large data. with warm regards, ruchir. -- As long as forever, I will stay by your side, I'll be your companion, Your friend and your guide!!! www.ruchir89.wordpress.com To unsubscribe send a message to [email protected] with the subject unsubscribe.
