I went to the bank and also met the manager. While asking the reason of
rejection, they said that they can not give any reason at the moment, it may
be because of my mistake. I conveyed the same to the manager and he replied
"to be very frank, banks never take the responsibility on their own
sholders. You can resubmit the application form and may be this time your
ATM will come". I also applied for E-banking and they told me to waite for
15 to 20 days to get the password and other information.

Why does it take one or two months for approval or rejection? It should
take hours and not days.
I got my ATM card in 10 mins.
Just go back to your bank and insist. Let me know what happens.

Greetings AI list members!
I am having my account with Bank of Baroda and I had applied for ATM two
month ago. In starting they not ready to allow me such facilities but
after showing them RBI's circular and IBA's guidelines, they agreed. On
last Saturday, I visited my branch to confirm about my ATM and came to
know that my application was rejected. When I asked the reason they
denied saying right now we can not give you the reason but you can
resubmit your application. However, I filled up the application form and
submitted it again but the thing is: I will again have to wait for
another one or two months and on that this might be repeated again. Any
advise?
