Dear friends, Warm Greetings from EnAble India’s CTVI Team. Enable India is a non-profit organization founded in 1999. The goal is to empower people with disabilities through rehabilitation, supplemental education and employment. One of the main focus areas is free computer training for the visually impaired. This training helps the blind in their reading and education as well as enables them in their employment and careers. Enable India has been providing computer education for the blind for the last 10 years.
CTVI (Computer Training for Visually Impaired) Team of EnAble India will be conducting Workshops on various Computer Applications from April 2009 till the May 2009. The Workshops are as follows: Workshop 1: Computer basics using JAWS Duration: 4 weeks. Start date: 6th April 2009 End date: 2nd May 2009 Eligibility: Any Visually Impaired whose age is above 15 years. Must have minimum English knowledge Workshop 2: Internet using JAWS Duration: 18 Days Start Date: 6th May 2009 End Date: 23rd May 2009 Eligibility: Any Visually Impaired whose age is above 15 years. Must have good knowledge of Computer Basics using JAWS, JAWS cursor & good English Workshop 3: Microsoft Excel using JAWS. Duration: 25 Days Start Date: 6th May 2009 End Date: 30th May 2009 Eligibility: Any Visually Impaired whose age is above 15 years. Must have good knowledge of Computer Basics using JAWS, JAWS cursor & good English Last date for registration for the workshops is April 3, 2009 The workshop timing is between 10.00 AM – 5.00 PM Interested Candidates can register their names at EnAble India Training centre, Bangalore.
