Hi Govind

If they are still pursuing b tech or medicine, they shouldn't have
scored more than 60% in their +1 and +2 examination.
Regarding the question about whether b tech and medicine are inferior
to a post graduation in science, commerce or arts, or whether they are
given a status of professional course and hence not treated inferior
to a master degree in science, commerce and arts, wait for the opinion
of our legal experts.
