If you are disabled and independent then you ask for 80U but if you are dependent then your father/guardian will ask for 80DD deduction. In your case if you are earning an income of say Rs. 4 lakhs a month. You will not have to pay tax on the first Rs. 1,60,000/-. If you are investing in certain investments like PF you can claim upto 1 lakh and since you are disabled you get another lakh off. therefore you will be taxed on Rs. 40,000/-.
